Join NAIOP for an Exclusive Behind The Scenes Tour of the new Freestore Foodbank Distribution Center
Estimated Value: $25 million; 224,135 SF
Scope/Services: Nearly 225,000 square foot facility to consolidate food distribution, food storage, community training and outreach, and administration under one roof. The facility includes 194,335 SF on first floor and 29,800 SF in the mezzanine.
This plan called for 31,457 SF of office area, 5,650 SF of kitchen area, as well as 33,600 SF of freezer/cooler space on first floor making HVAC, process piping and controls design critical to serve the kitchens, freezers, & coolers and all of the kitchen and freezer/cooler equipment. The project also included relocating existing equipment from other Freestore Foodbank facilities and hooking them up in the new building.
This will be a hard hat tour. Limited hats will be provided so if you have your own, we ask that you bring it.
