 Ohio Congressman Dave Taylor
A born and raised Ohioan, Dave Taylor is a conservative businessman and attorney who proudly represents Ohio’s Second District in the U.S. House of Representatives and understands the importance of getting the job done. Dave attended Amelia High School and went on to graduate from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and earn his Juris Doctorate degree from the Dayton School of Law. With his law degree in hand, Dave joined the Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office where he held criminals accountable for drugs and violence in his hometown. Having spent years successfully trying criminal cases, Dave returned to work for his family’s small business where he ultimately served as President, employing two dozen Ohioans. A member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Dave is committed to ensuring the safety and development of infrastructure in rural Ohio. Dave is also a member of the House Agriculture Committee, where he is eager to support legislation that bolsters Ohio’s agriculture industry and supports local farmers, ranchers, and producers. Andrew Deye serves as the Chief Financial Officer at JobsOhio, the state’s private nonprofit economic development corporation. In this role, he oversees the organization’s financial strategy and operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility while advancing Ohio’s economic growth initiatives. Under his financial leadership, JobsOhio has achieved significant milestones, including the recent upgrade of the JobsOhio Beverage System’s credit rating by Moody’s, reflecting the organization’s strengthened financial position . Prior to his current role, Andrew was the Vice President of Strategy at JobsOhio, where he led the strategy, global business development, and research functions. His efforts contributed to JobsOhio and its partners successfully serving over 2,500 companies, including more than 450 new-to-Ohio investments . Before joining JobsOhio, Andrew spent eight years in investment banking, most recently as a Vice President at Greenhill & Co. During this time, he provided financial advice on transactions totaling over $40 billion, including public-private partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and financings . A Cincinnati native, Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University and a Master’s degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.Andrew’s deep understanding of public-private partnerships and his commitment to Ohio’s economic development make him a valuable resource for insights into the state’s growth strategies. |
